Gloriah Amondi is a trained lawyer, a writer and cultural journalist from Kenya currently living in Montreal. She has published work in several local and international literary magazines including Dooneys’ Café, Ibua Journal, Lolwe, Kalahari and other spaces. Recently, she founded a project called ‘East Africa Write Now’ which is a literary exchange platform with the intention of introducing East African literature to foreign readers in Canada and the US. Currently, she is enrolled in the creative writing graduate program at Concordia University.
