Jason Mitchell is a Canadian artist who lives and works in Montréal, QC. He holds a BFA in Studio Arts from Concordia University (2018) and a DEC in Fine Arts from Dawson College (2012). Predominantly an oil painter, Mitchell’s work depicts the humdrum of daily life, typically within the domestic sphere, where themes pertaining to cultural identity, memory, and the human condition are questioned. His work has been exhibited throughout Montréal and resides in private collections across the city.
